This page describes the cookies and storage tools used by the nwdesigns.it website, operated by Pinworth S.r.l. — Via San Lucio 14, 00165 Rome (RM), Italy, VAT 15095411003. The choice made through the banner can be changed at any time with the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device to store information and reuse it on later visits. Alongside them sit similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which this site uses for a few technical functions.

2. Technical tools (always on)

These are necessary for the site to work and require no consent (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). This site uses no server-side session cookies; it relies exclusively on the browser's local storage:

  • nw-cookie-consent (localStorage) — stores the choice made in the cookie banner; it stays saved until you clear your browser data
  • nw-intro-seen (sessionStorage) — remembers, for the duration of the session only, that the questionnaire's intro animation has already been shown
  • nw-bea-draft-v1 (localStorage) — keeps the draft of your Brand Effective Analysis answers so you do not lose your progress if you close the page; it stays on your device only, is deleted automatically after 30 days and contains just the answer codes, with no contact details, email or consent flags

3. Statistics cookies (with prior consent)

Only if you consent through the banner, the site activates Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd., to collect aggregate statistics on site usage (pages visited, referral source, interactions with the questionnaire). The service is integrated under Google Consent Mode v2: no measurement script is loaded and no data is sent before consent.

This notice also covers the promotional pages on adv.nwdesigns.it, which use a separate measurement property and ask for consent separately. The measurement IDs are:

  • G-0J7DYPL0DE — www.nwdesigns.it
  • G-E4WP1G5VE6 — adv.nwdesigns.it (campaign pages)
  • _ga — distinguishes users pseudonymously; 24-month lifetime
  • _ga_0J7DYPL0DE and _ga_E4WP1G5VE6 — maintain the measurement session state on the respective property; 24-month lifetime

Consent to statistics cookies is optional: the site works exactly the same if you refuse them.

4. Marketing cookies (with prior consent)

Only if you consent through the banner, the site activates the Meta Pixel (ID 719732625357802), provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., to measure the results of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and to show ads to people who have already visited the site (retargeting). These are profiling cookies: no script is loaded and no data is sent to Meta before your consent.

The pixel records page views and contact form submissions; we do not send it any contact details (“advanced matching” is switched off). The cookies it sets are:

  • _fbp — identifies the browser pseudonymously to attribute conversions; 3-month lifetime
  • _fbc — stores the click parameter of the ad you came from, where present; 3-month lifetime

Consent to marketing cookies is likewise optional and independent of the statistics one: you can accept either, both or neither, and the site works exactly the same. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. processes the data as joint controller for the measurement functions; its notice is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

5. Other third-party services without cookies

The site loads its typefaces through Adobe Fonts (Typekit, Adobe Inc.). The service sets no cookies on your device; to deliver the fonts it processes technical data (e.g. IP address) under Adobe's privacy policy.

6. How to manage your preferences

You can change your choice at any time:

  • With the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer of every page
  • From your browser settings, blocking or clearing cookies and site data (clearing them brings the banner back)
  • With the Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • From your Meta account's ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences
