A neighbourhood of centuries-old workshops that deserved a voice able to tell its worth.
Ponte – Art & Design District was created to showcase the artisan workshops of via dei Banchi Nuovi, in the heart of Rome. A district that saw Cellini, Borromini and Maderno pass through, custodian of centuries of goldsmithing, restoration and design, today brings together dozens of active workshops spanning jewellery, antiques, galleries and architecture. An authentic heritage that nonetheless remained hard to discover and tell online.
The goal was clear: to build a visual identity able to convey the value of the district, starting from the logo, developed in an extended version for institutional communication and in a stamp-effect version that recalls the authenticity of artisan work. A system also designed to make discovering the neighbourhood's workshops, places and experiences simple.

We designed the entire user experience, redefining the information architecture and the navigation flows. Discovering the district's workshops, places and experiences became simple and engaging.
Visually, we built a coherent identity: colours, typography and components tell the bond between artisan tradition and contemporary vision. The result is a site that communicates authenticity without giving up a modern language.

We handled the art direction and production of the institutional photo and video shoot, from the historic interiors of the workshops to the gestures of artisans at work, down to the details of the creations in jewellery, restoration and design.

For the social plan, we developed an editorial strategy that showcases the workshops' work and tells the story of the neighbourhood, bringing visibility to the district and building an active community around one of Rome's most authentic artisan realities.
We also handled the graphic side of institutional communication, developing the templates for the district's press releases. A visual system consistent with Ponte's identity, designed to accompany every official release and strengthen brand recognition in press materials too.
